    I thought that you may be interested to learn that I have another lead cannonball in my possession that was found on midsummer meadow riverbank in the seventies. It has been examined by Glen Foard who feels that is consistent with being a 15th century cannonball. It’s find spot is also consistent with the battle of Northampton. The ball is miss-shapen now, almost egg shaped, Glen Foard says this is consistent with firing damage from a cannon. It also has faint fabric imprint which again Glen says is consistent with what is expected from a fired lead cannonball.
    I am more than happy for your society to see it if you want.
